Interesting Facts
Flashcards
What are flashcards?
A flashcard contains content from a learning-card system, which deals with a specific topic.
The flashcard contains a question and the associated answer, which are displayed on opposite sides of the flashcard. The question can therefore be read and thought about, before the answer is viewed. Most learning-card systems take information regarding known or forgotten information into consideration when organizing the card sequence. And the Remme Vocabulary Builder is particularly innovative in this precise area, as it calculates the exact point in time when a specific flashcard needs to be repeated. The user therefore always knows how many cards need to be repeated.
Create your own flashcards or subscribe for new ones
You can create your own flashcards or simply subscribe for new ones from other people. The Remme Learning Platform provides two simple tools for this purpose. One of them is a catalog. This includes a search field that enables the flashcards (and even the content of individual flashcards) to be searched through and subscribed for. The second is a creator tool, which can be used to create flashcards by "copying/pasting" content from a table (e.g. Excel).
The flashcards that have been created form a learning-card system, which all users can subscribe to. The subscriber receives their own copy of all flashcards that the respective learning-card system contains.
