Learning-card system
Structure of the learning-card system
A Learning-card system generally consists of multiple chapters, which may include further sub-chapters.
These chapters are structured in a content-related manner. This allows the learner to select the chapter or lesson that they would like to learn first of all. For example, if the learning-card system contains various lessons related to language memorization, and the learner will soon be taking an exam on the content of lesson 4, the Remme Vocabulary Builder allows the user to restrict the selection of flashcards to those available in lesson 4. In doing so, the learning-card system must be structured in a sensible way. It should be possible, for example, to study one chapter or sub-chapter during a single session, which means one chapter should contain between 50 and 200 flashcards. What's more, a complete learning-card system should not contain more than 2,000 to 3,000 flashcards.
Self-made learning-card system
A user can subscribe for a learning-card system from another person or create their own. The creation of a system is much easier once the data is available in electronic form. Flashcard content can be copied from an Excel file or copied to the entry form on www.remme.com simply and quickly.
And chapters or sub-chapters can be created in the learning-card system by simply clicking the + button. It is, however, important to know that a learning-card system can only contain chapters if no flashcards are located directly within the system. It is therefore helpful to know that a chapter structure must be defined for the learning-card system, before any flashcards are added to the individual chapters.
Learning with a learning-card system with Remme
There are different ways of learning with a learning-card system. A user can concentrate on the flashcards within a specific sub-chapter first of all, or simply focus on the entire learning-card system. The Remme Vocabulary Builder allows individual flashcards or entire chapters to be deactivated. If this is done, the respective flashcards will be excluded the next time the user focuses on the entire system. If the user wants to know if they have really understood the content of the learning-card system, they can start a test by clicking "Test me". During this test, the vocabulary builder utilizes all flashcards. Flashcards that have been forgotten will then be displayed more often in future.<- Flashcards
